Lander's Children's Museum

The Lander Children’s Museum is working toward the goal of relocating from their present location on to the Museum of the American West site. This move will greatly benefit the Museum of the American West complex.

The Lander Children’s Museum opened its doors March of 2000. Museum exhibits are targeted at children between three and twelve years of age and encompass the fields of math, science, art, music, and reading. Teenagers are involved on the student advisory board and as exhibit contributors.

Lander Children’s Museum Mission Statement:
Fostering curiosity and creativity through a variety of hands-on learning experiences and interactive exhibits.

Lander Children’s Museum Goal:
Your Lander Children’s Museum will provide experiences that encourage us to interact with our surrounding resources through unique opportunities found in this beautiful and bountiful area.
