Current Museum Exhibits

• March 4-April 30, 2008—Forest Service, Reminders of The Past.  Karl Brauneis, a local retired forest ranger, has set up this very interesting and educational exhibit in the Coutant House, located next to the chapel.  The public is invited to see this exhibit.  Call 335-8778 for more information.

• May 1-May 31, 2008—Wyoming Stockgrower’s Association photo exhibit will be shown in the Coutant House.  This on loan exhibit is brought to the museum from the Wyoming Heritage Foundation in Laramie.

• July 1-July 31, 2008—A second Wyoming Heritage Foundation photo exhibit will be on display during the month of July. This exhibit will honor Chief Washakie who was invaluable in the peaceful settling of the Lander Valley and J.K. Moore who ran a general store at Fort Washakie.
